November gave me a chance to be a baby again as my mother visited us.It probably was a harrowing
time for my wife,Rinku . Ma - in -law's visit apparently takes away a lot of independence and authority from a daughter -in-law and that is why there are so many paradoxical situations.Anyway , that is how we mature and age up.Ma had come with Mahideu & visited Haridwar,Agra and Delhi as part of a package tour.She stayed on after the tour with us.
In november we celebrated Oceans's birthday. It was a modest one.But it also was the first time we celebrated his birthday independently.Till last year his birthday and Naomi's birthday used tobe celebrated clubbed togather. I think he enjoyed being on his own, Few of his and his sisters freinds were invited and they enjoyed the evening. Ocean became busy with the gift he received.Next few days were busy playing cricket with his plasticcricket set.
In December, Naomi scored 9.5 out of 10 in social studies.She improved her performances in almost all the subjects.She is celebratinh her birthday on 30 Dec. School holidays are starting from 24 Dec to 07 Jan 2003.
In Dec, Ocean performed well. He could get First prize in 'fancy dress ' competition and stood second in 'Hindi recitation.He was a 'robot' and recited the poem 'Hathi raja bahut bare, Sund hila kar, kahan chale !!!'
Self was on holiday, wife's school functions were on i.e drawing and christmas. |
