About the Band - an elastic lineup playing guitar, drums, elastic, etc, the band hail from Hailing Island near Xonifrex, Pants, though they are not from there. Their ambition is to make a lot of money without doing any work, and for their music to be heard, especially by Norman Pratt, who is dead.

Following the 'Bins Out In Basingstoke' tour, the band is concentrating on promoting their fab new album - Woofers and Tweeters - a multilayered melange of musical mayhem, a melifluous mixture of mystical minutiae, a marvelous melding of molecular molybendum ... er ... innovative ... quirky ...er... thesaurus...

On the tour, which included dates at Electric Trousers, Toad Road and Mr Footwear's Cash and Carry, the band previewed an eclectic swathe of new material and reworked old favourites like 'Skin Complaint' and 'Red Leather Chair', supported by Dorothy Bridgeweed and The American Fanny Experience. The shows were recorded for a new live album, provisionally entitled 'It's Live Jon, but not as we know it', and an accompanying 5 hour concept video - 'Did you see that?'(PAL/WINALOT only). The band also distributed up to 100,000 in cash to lucky members of the audience, so make sure you turn up to the next gig

The Single - Coffee Conversation/Little Dreams

Taken from the hot new album, Woofers and Tweeters, it's a kleptomaniac's kitchendrawer full of pungent lyric charm and textured rock - with some other things which are secret, a bit like Worcester sauce Read the lyrics

Coffee Conversation

Coffee conversation and conversation stoppers, from early Christmas shoppers on the bus
Caught with courting couples so speechless in their rapture
Who would have thought such splendour was once us as we sit, and we sip our coffee cups
Where I once raised you to my lips

Careless conversation and continental coffee in corporation cafes locally
Now you are a traveller to far exotic places
I expect your taste is catholic, far and wide, for the quality things in life
Whereas I never moved on

Five years spent in the search for perfection in the perfect direction of a statue of you
Five years spent in following the fashion of fools

Another piece of passion, a slice of fresh frustration will ease the conversation if it slows
Every conversation is filled with pregnant pauses
The coffee is too bitter, so we go, pay the bill, while the coffee is steaming still
Even though I've not had my fill

Careful celebrations of subtle soft submissions, like slowly seized positions in a war
Coffee converation is strained negotiation, that ugly thing attrition I deplore, I deploy
Drop those coffee bar bombs away, as they say, L'amour est mort

The cup she was sucking was making her shaking a public announcement of everything breaking in her heart
The coffee she dribbled was totally riddled with regretful tears which hid all the lies of those years
The cutlery carefully placed where she trembled was tarnished, the table was varnished, it was scratched
The cafe was tiny, the couple near by me complained of the closeness of everybody, but we were never that close

Coffee conversation in every railway station, an off the track location on the move
She clicks her cup and saucer in time with the espresso which rushed her from this mess
Over the hill, far away from this horribly sad cafe
And from me and the coffee
