Originally from the Boston area, Steve lived in Chicago for several years where he was a member of the Second City resident company. He also performed with various other theater groups, most notably The Goodman, and Wisdom Bridge.
From Chicago, Steve went to New York where he worked Off-Broadway, and appeared as a writer/performer on the short lived "Dana Carvey Show."
Steve next left for Los Angeles where he appeared in still more short lived series, and never to be seen pilots.
He is the voice of Gary, The Commissioner, and various other characters on the animated "Saturday Night Live" series "The Ambiguously Gay Duo."
Steve is married to actress Nancy Walls.
