| Frank DeCaro: Contributor, "Out at the Movies" Frank DeCaro writes the "Style Over Substance" column for The New York Times and is a Consulting Editor at TV Guide. In addition, he regularly appears in the "Out at the Movies" segment on COMEDY CENTRAL's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and teaches the Fashion Makers course at New York University. His first book, A Boy Named Phyllis: A Suburban Memoir, was published by Viking in 1996 and in paperback the following year. His writing has appeared in numerous publications including Newsweek, Vogue, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Observer, Martha Stewart Living, Metropolitan Home, US, and Out. His comic essays are included in Out, Loud, & Laughing (Anchor, 1995), and Out in All Directions (Warner Books, 1995). A graduate of Northwestern University and a former New York Newsday columnist, he is happily "taken" and lives in New York City with his dog, Herman. He is at work on his next book, Love Handles To Die For. |
