| the kitzbuhelhornlauf is a mountain race run from the ski resort of kitzbuhel up a 11km access road climbing some 1200 odd metres. it is fairly unique on the mountain running tour by being a road race. the kiwi's kicked ass by demolishing that table of bananas in the background and more than a few beers at the post race festivities following. |

| here�s a bit about my tour at the turn of the millenium. the climax and undoubted highlight came when i won my second world championship. we also had a lot of fun along the way, racing week in week out in a different country, with a different language and lots of good (different) food! the shot above is torino near the train station which we only found by simon asking every young lady he could find directions |

| a 'cow fest' in bavaria. villages have a day to celebrate the end of summer when the cows come down from the mountains from their summer grazing. today the cows still come down but it is more an excuse to consume copious amounts of beer - perfect |
