| My Philosophy (A Vision tradition continues) |
| It seems to be a Vision tradition to state your philosophy on our own builder's site. So I'm going to continue that tradition and tell you mine. I believe that not all people are created equal. Some of us are beautiful. Some are booksmart. Some are good mechanics, chefs, rocket scientists, etc. I think that in the world today, people don't lead balanced lives. They try so hard at being the best in one thing that they ignore the rest of what's out there. I have met some very intelligent people in my life that have had no common sense. What good is it if you are a genius but you can't tie your shoes? I joined the military to see the world, learn a trade, and establish self-discipline. I learned to fly to experience something that a small percentage of the world will never attempt. I go to church to be part of something more than who I am. I attend college to broaden my knowledge base. I apply common sense to make life easier. It may seem like I want to balance my life with a "been there, done that" style of living but all I'm trying to do is see what is out there. So the bottom line for me is not to live inside the box my whole life. Back to Main Page |
