The Whipple Cycle Co.of Chicago Ill. Built the Whipple Motorcycle (tricycle, two wheels in the front) from 1905 to 1907. The Whipple employed a 1 1/4hp Aurora Mfg engine. It had a 22 inch frame, 28 inch wheels, round belt, and a splash lubrication system. In 1905 The whipple sold for $120 and it weighed only 85lbs.
