Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within- Bust or Bomb???
Well, the wait is over and Final Fantasy:The Spirits Within is about to come crashing down to theaters on July 11, 2001. Less then a month...
Well, after being a huge Final Fantasy and Squaresoft fan, you would think this would be the biggest event ever for me. But I'm worried.

I learned about the movie in 1999, after playing Final Fantasy VIII and becoming a big fan. The sumer of 2000 I stumbled across finalfantasy.com- the official movie web site. It didn't tell me much. Later this year I previewed a trailer showing some of the events in the movie. What worried me- I saw no magic or summons. Now some of you may think "So" or "It'll still rock"
But I had and partially still have a bad feeling about it.

This month, I read my new PSM and saw info on Fianl Fantasy Trading Cards. I looked through and saw some interesting things. Not only was the fact that FF characters from all games were in some packs and some cards were previews of FFX, but they mentioned weapons from the movie. Weapons sounded to me like the Gunblade or the Mastermune Swallow. I don't know, but this is starting to turn my mind around. And after reviewing most of the story line, I thing that this movie will be worth what Square has Paid into it. I'll just have to wait the month to see........
