Tip of the fortnight...

Study without interruptions

"I can never study at home. Too many distractions - the television, the computer, my bed. I've taken to studying outside home. But it's so much trouble trying to find a proper place to study..."

Does this sound familiar to you students? If that is the case, let me give you the top 5 places for you to study in...

Library

(Good: Air-conditioned and quiet. Bad: Library staff discourage you from studying in the library)

Fast-food restaurant

(Good: Air-conditioned. Food and drinks easily available. Most staff and managers there may turn a blind eye to students studying on their premises. Bad: Noisy and hard to find a place during lunch and dinner hours. Temptation to eat!)

Community Centre Study Areas

(Good: Mostly air-conditioned and quiet. Bad: You may need to sign up as a member before using their study areas.)

School

(Good: Many areas available for studying. Your school may provide a few classrooms for you and your friends to study in. Easy access to teachers to ask questions. Bad: You may have to wear your school uniform. Some of you may be staying a distance away from your school.)

Public Toilet in Shopping Centres [Should there be no other alternatives]

(Good: Few people use the toilets at the top level. Mostly air-conditioned, quiet and peaceful. Bad: DO I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS ?!:>)
