My partners editorial
Some people oppose the well being of others and argue that I am just trying to get marijuana legalized. To them I say yes I am trying to get marijuana legalized but I'm doing it for the people that benefit from the use not for a recreational abusive practice. Some say that I don't address the issues of the matter and I take a hasty lean to appeal to feelings about the subject. I do not think that any feelings that I appeal to are hasty, cause after all that's what I'm talking about feelings. Some people forget just how much of a role they play when talking about marijuana and dealing with life changing diseases. They question how honest people really are wondering if giving to them would the patients sell it, when patients are giving other drugs such as hydrocodine or methadone do they sell it. When questioning people honesty they question their own maybe those critics would sell it but for the most part the patients who want to reduce the pain they live with won't be going out to sell drugs after they receive it. When asking if youth use would go up due to the legalization is actually justified question. But after taking in consideration that it still would be illegal for them to have or use it should be apparent that a rise might occur but most likely not due to the fact that the law would still be enforced. Most of the other arguments that my opponent uses go against issues that are discussed in my proposal and accusations of groundless premises and propaganda use are dramatically used. In looking at the editorial written by my opponent he throws out his own brand of assumptions in an attempt patronize my issues that are discussed, not actually taking a look at what my proposal is all about.
