The Birth of Kashinnu!
Chapter 1 - The Birth of Kashinnu.

Many people often ask me how I came up with the idea of Kashinnu. I often reply "Alchohol". However now that I look back on it I realise it is a question that is asked too much, so I must answer it here and keep it archived for all to see so they stop asking me annoying little questions that I don't like answering.

I first got Flash back in late 2001. I was excited and decided to try my hand at animation. The result, a crappy drawn car moves on to screen to have some crappily drawn person put his head and say "EYYY!!". The movie then proceeds to go on to show Ned Kelly walk through a wall. Then 'The End' displays. So that was it. I put it on Newgrounds and it was blammed.

I wasn't out of the Flash because of that though. The year was 2002 in October. I had just started up my website and I had my first message board in operation. It was fairly busy back then with around 10 of us as full time members. I had started up a thread called Ultimate Super Powers where I gathered a bunch of people such as Batman and Superman and people voted for who would win. The 2 with the top votes would go into a finals match. It just so happened Super Hitler and Mega Sam were voted into the finals.
Originally I was going to show their match with photos I was going to take of my action figures. It didn't work out though.
Early Super Hitler
and Mega Sam.
With the photo idea not working out exactly how I had planned, I figured I might be able to do it on Flash. So I did it. The result was my first Flash movie in a year and I called it Super Hitler vs Mega Sam.
Shortly after the failure of that, I decided I would make another full length feature. Full length back in those days was 1 minute. So I decided that with the failure of the Hitler thing that I would make another fight thing. I ended up with this.
And just towards the end of the episode the little guy on the right dies. which I dont think I was originally going to do as I wanted the series to go on for a while, and killing off the heroes doesn't help that. So I put this little guy in at the end.
I called him KASHINNU, and a legend was born.

Next time, see how the Kashinnu cartoon almost comes to an end, and it's revival.
