The new year is about to begin. Will it bring anything new? Or am I to be trapped in the circling toilet of Wichita Falls. My New Year's resolution is to leave the country within the next twelve months. I will too. Somewhere, someday.

The Christmas season has wrapped up, thankfully. I took my friends to the airport on Monday. A hard goodbye! (I added some pictures of them in my photo section) I've worked 52.5 hours since Friday and I still have tomorrow for this schedule. I feel a little beaten down. I'm burned out on what I'm doing and most importantly, where I am. I'm ready for an adventure... an escape. I want to give "something new" a chance. This is something I haven't been able to do in awhile. I don't know if it will just be a vacation or something more but I will be there. I'll meet you there... in the light of day or by moonlight. I feel bad that I haven't had the time to spend with my newest, closest friends. I'm working so much. Someday you will both know how much you have actually helped me.

I have house guests that will be staying with me for the weekend. Not so much a Christmas visit as a supreme act of kindness on my part. I just can't see people that were once such close friends be torn apart and be thrown out like garbage.
