Residential

In recent years people have rediscovered the beauty of living in a nice positive environment, and more and more are moving from dusty carpet to wooden floor, from linoleum to tiled floors.

Everyone would love to have a dream house, few realise how simple it is to make the dream become Reality.

Many believe it will cost a fortune, because they do not realise that everything depends on a well-planned operation:

Good rational planning will always give the best return for the investment made.

For this reason it is indispensable to have a professional who is used to knocking down walls, demolishing a whole bathroom, dealing with builders as a matter of daily business... namely a good Designer

JON KARLO DESIGN

The hard part of the work of the Designer is to understand the client: What he/she really wants, his/her preferences. A good Designer knows how.

He comes up with a few visual ideas, and from these goes for the final project.

Once the project is defined, the Interior Designer has to ensure that everything goes as it should. This is the technical part of the work: dealing with suppliers and traders; keeping the budget and timeline under control.

A contemporary European Minimalist Style is, in my opinion, the best possible way to add value to your property, at the same time providing a great environment for you to enjoy.

Your Designer, me, is the only person you need to deal with; I will take care of everything.

WHY JON KARLO DESIGN?

Firstly, I am a trained Building Technologist; this gives me an insight into the construction world well beyond the renovation of an Interior. It also gives me a more objective view of artistic trends.

I specialise in a Contemporary European Minimalist Style. I cooperate with craftsmen in metal to realise exclusive pieces. I make use of lighting, ventilation, tiling, parete attrezzata, taps, and so on. I occasionally import pieces from abroad.

But not only that but also Scandinavian or Mediterranean Style, wrought iron, kitchens "in muratura" with imported handmade ceramic tiles or something else inspired by the client. These are my key-words: beauty, function, simplicity.

HEALTH & SAFETY: When budget permits it; special care is given to emergency lighting, water purification, security, damp waterproofing, open fireplaces and many small details, even pieces of art: pictures or sculpture

Wall Embellishment: only when required, I can build something to dress your walls...click here for digital art, generally I encourage the clients to find something to their own individual taste.

Might it be for a room only, a Kitchen or a total renovation project, I am always keen on having an informal chat to see If I can be of help.
