Terror in the skies
As we watch in disbelief
A senseless threat to freedom
A people filled with grief

There are children without mothers
Countless lives are lost
Though the world is waiting
We can never count the cost

And so a nation mourns
But freedom still rings true
With heavy hearts we carry on
Half staff red white and blue

Our voices lift in song
Differences set aside
Surrounded by the heros
Who fill our hearts with pride

We watch and wait together
Hope dawns a clear new day
May God be with us all
And may He bless the USA
