I started into competitive dog sports (Conformation) early in 1999 with my first purebred dog - a Great Dane (Leanonme's Ms B Haven V Cheviot) . Although she was very much loved, it became apparent to me very early that this was not the breed for me. Cancer of the liver and spleen caused her early passing and she will always be remembered as the 'Crazy Dane' of the family and live on in my kennel name and all of our hearts.

I discovered the German Pinschers in late 2000 with Joker. He accomplished multiple Best of Breed wins over Specials and would easily have gained his CH title had he been a registerable dog. Ironically, he was awarded the #5 spot for Top GP in 2002 by the CKC. We discovered agility together and found that he could compete even without being registered. He was #1 GP in the AAC in 2003 & the youngest GP to achieve this award. He was my friend and companion for over 5 years and there will always be an empty space in my heart that will never be filled because of him. He is greatly missed and is the reason I have become so devoted to this breed. His memory will always live on in my kennel name - and my heart.
