| The fourth stanza of the poem tells you if you have the word 'violets' to blow off the last five. The word 'violets' has seven letters. If you get rid of the last five you are left with 'vi'. The poem then tells you to pluck the first. Now you are left only with 'i'. So if you have the word 'violets' you should replace it with ' I '. |
