I was standing on a lobby
Waiting for intimate who's so busy
I was staring at my watch
I can recall it's twelve o'clock.

Without knowing that 
There was coming a thief and thug
Planning to hurt me and to snatch
My gold watch and handbag.

Help! Help! I shouted very loud
But the resonance of my voice
Made to dispel the crowd
Funny! became coward the boys.

Suddenly, in the midst of the night
There came an unfamiliar man
Soldierly bearing face was so bright
Then, he quickly ran with a gun.

A few minutes later,he came back
With my things from rail road track
He gave me a sheepish smile
Smile my hand for a while.

I thanked him and said so   
"You did best, you're my hero"
He replied, "that's my job" and shrugged
"To nab and put in jail the thugs."
