Purpose of the project:
Senile Dementia, mainly Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, mayaffect people aged 60 years or more, rarely younger people. Up to 250 000 Thais may be affected by Senile Dementia. This number will rapidly increasein the future since the Thai population starts to grow older. The purposeof that project is to promote the awareness of Senile Dementia in Thailandby bringingup-to-date information on this condition and offer a forum wheremedical personnel and any interested people can exchange their view and experiencewhen confronted with patients affected by Senile Dementia.
