Nacho Sculptures by Jon G.

Using polymer clay, I am creating a series of sculptures of nachos. Everything, from the plate to the toppings, is made of Sculpey polymer clay and painted. It's a wonderful theme for me since I was born and raised in South Texas - the birthplace of the nacho as well. Nachos, because they're meant to be shared, express conviviality, informality, fun. Nachos are the perfect food, with the basic structure of chips and cheese supporting any number of toppings, or ideas.
