Jon E is an Auckland, New Zealand based Singer/Songwriter. Specialising in vocal based acoustic music with musical influences like U2, Counting Crows, Coldplay and the Finn Brothers.

Jon E started music performance playing in a youth group based band called PFG in the late 80's in addition to singing second tenor in a vocal quartet (The voice Box)

From these beginnings Circus was formed with Rene Aish and Karl Smith (An acoustic trio) Circus went on to win 2 HM rage Talent Quests and then led to the formation of "Toast" (The Band and not the food)  Toast went on to record an album "Never Burn" which garnered  two radio singles "What is Love?" and "Home".

Toast led in to Jon E & Yo Mama, which became a concept band pulling together different guests and line ups depending on the gig.

At parachute festival 2001 Jon E produced the supastars project (loosely based on the popstars tv show) Auditioning and training a group of 5 vocalists for a main stage perfomrance and later a recording session at revolver studios.

Which leads to now. Jon E is currently playing many solo gigs around Auckland and in preproductin mode for a solo album. In fact you can download some of the very basic demos for this album from  this websites main page. To go there now click the link below...
