Dear Family and Friends,
Just a quick update. Tim's surgery went fine. He's now hooked up to the ventilator through the trach tube. It's nice to see his whole face again. He's still feverish but otherwise vitals are good. Tomorrow we get an update from the doctor, and they will probably give us a discharge date.
I discovered something today while looking at Tim's chest x-ray- his right clavicle is broken, too! I don't think anyone had caught that yet. Not bad for a rookie.
We're all pretty tired, but hanging in there.
