"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20

Summary

I am senior, finace major at Texas A&M University. I am from Canyon, TX, which is approximately 15 miles south of Amarillo. I am graduating in December of 2004, and in January I will begin working for Student Life, which is a Christian youth ministry. Let's see...What else? I am 22 years old. I became a Christain when I was 10. I think that is about it.

Personal Word

This section of my webpage is devoted to frequent updates of some of my thoughts such as what the Lord has been teaching me or some really cool events that I have experienced. I won't keep you in suspense any longer... Winning is the cure all. Things are always better when you are winning. Take it from me; I know what losing feels like. I am a huge sports fan, and I take a ton of interest in the Chicago Bears and the Texas A&M Aggies. And needless to say, it has been a tough year for my teams. But forget the fan and think about the players. Nobody cares what you do as long as you win. But when you start losing, it all goes down hill. Just ask Keyshawn Johnson. He never would have been deactivated if Tampa Bay was not struggling so much. And everybody will agree that it is much more fun to win than lose. Well you know what, if you are a Christian, a child of God, then you are an eternal champion. You are more than a conquerer as Paul talks about in Romans 8. You have already been given victory over death and your place is secured in heaven with Christ. Wow! Does that register somewhere inside of you! In an everchanging world, you can find peace and security in Jesus Christ. No matter what world event takes place, nothing will ever seperate a Christian from the love of Christ. NOTHING. I love reading the Old Testament and the stories about God rescuing Isreal from Egypt and taking them to the Promise Land. That was no easy journey. But it seems like everytime Isreal came up against a major opponent or a major crisis, the Lord provided for them. Before they would fight the battles, the Lord would say, "I have already given them into your hand. Don't fear; you've already won." Let that sink in. Just like the Lord gave the Isrealites enemies into their hands, he is offering the same thing to you and to me today. Christ conquered death once for all on the cross. And because of His sacrifice, we are more than conquerers. I hope this truth allows you to find peace in the good and bad times.
