Introductory Notes (If required)

Problem:  Write the question that will be studied.  Usually the introduction will give you the information needed to complete this.

Hypothesis:  Write an if then statement.  If I change __________________  then what I am measuring will ________________.  Reading the procedure before writing the hypothesis will help you know what to write.

Materials:  Use the materials list from the handout or read the procedure  to determine what will be needed to carry the experiment out.

Procedure:  Make a flow chart.  There is an appendix in the text book with and explanation and example of flow charts.

Data:  Make a table to collect the data in.  Write a title that explains what the data represents.  Use a ruler to make straight lines.  Put labels and units at the top of the columns and at the side of each row.
