Be able to identify the organs of the digestive system on a diagram.

Know the structure and function of each digestive organ.

Know what substances are secreted by each digestive organ and what each does

Know the difference between mechanical and chemical digestion.  Be able to identify these tyoes of digestion throughout the digestive system.

                Which organ does each work in?

                What nutrient does each break down?

                What does each nutrient break down into?

Know the nutrient groups, their building blocks and their uses in the cell.
