Context Clues Activity
Objectives: Students will use context clues to recognize meanings of unfamiliar words.
Nonsense!
Materials: paper and pencils
Remind students they can use context clues-other words in a sentence-to figure out the meanings of unknown words.
Writing: Have students write down what they think each nonsense word represents.
1.Quilt-making is fun and doesn�t have to cost much darmia.
2. You can collect sniggles of fabric from sewing projects or old clothing.
3. Your friends will be doppled when they see your creation.
