I've added this page mostly for myself, so I can keep track of my progress. For those of you who aren't familiar with what's entailed in a paramedic internship, I'll explain it to you. I have gone through 2 semesters of classroom instruction, and 240 hours of clinical time in the hospital. The last step which I am in now, is the 480 hour field internship. I need 40 ALS contacts (calls) during this time before I can successfully finish. After I finish my 480 hours/40 ALS calls, my preceptor has final say if I pass or not. |
