The Life of Jesus
1 John 2:4-6
If someone says,
"I belong to God," but doesn't obey God's commandments, that person
is a liar and does not live in the truth. [5] But those who obey God's word
really do love him. That is the way to know whether or not we live in him. [6] Those who say
they live in God should live their lives as Christ did.
1 Cor. 11:1
And you should follow my example, just as I follow Christ's.
· Our life call is to be like JESUS. To be His witnesses.
· We have freedom to be who God created us to BE.
· We must be FREE in the LORD!!!
· As different we are on the outside, the more different we are in the inside.
2 Cor. 3:17-18
Now, the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, he gives freedom. [18] And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.
· We are going through the process of being transformed into Jesus.
·
Prime Minister from
· Lord cleanse my heart so that I can see people as you see them.
· Seeds that lie dormant will sprout up exponentially for the period that they lie dormant.
We need a greater revelation of Jesus on the Cross.
We need humility in our weakness, vulnerability, and honesty.
The Cross has to be the center of the community.
We are called to community so that we can live our lives together.
Let the Lord Correct People. Pray how to discipline others.
PEOPLE ARE WATCHING!!!
Live your life. People are desperate to see what WORKS.
People want someone who is real and honest. People are quick on phonies.
1 John 1:1-4
The one who
existed from the beginning is the one we have heard and seen. We saw him with
our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is Jesus Christ, the Word
of life. [2] This one who is life from God was shown to us, and we have seen
him. And now we testify and announce to you that he is the one who is eternal
life. He was with the Father, and then he was shown to us. [3] We are telling
you about what we ourselves have actually seen and heard, so that you may have
fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son,
Jesus Christ.
[4] We are writing
these things so that our joy will be complete.
