Ideas, theories, methods of confirmation of what already believed used by the speaker:

New teaching that was learned:

Practically apply teaching of the week in life how:

·       I need to pray that I love the Father more today than I did yesterday.

·        Don’t just need to be obedient; but be passionate and have devotion as well.

·        Out of love obey. Not out of obedience will I love.

·        I want to turn the head and heart of God.

·        I have to trust the Lord in everything. What I buy at the grocery story, ect.

·        Must build a foundation of love for God.  I must love God with everything in me.

·        Why do I do anything? For Glory of God or Glory of JD?  God wants me to do or I want to do?  It must be done bc I love GOD!!!

·        Everyday get a Word from GOD!!

·        Pray that God will order my day.

·        Must be consistent in my Faith.

·        When God gives me a word, must accept it though faith and believe.

·        Build my faith by hearing the Word of God.

·        Word, prayer, and through Godly Leaders will help me find the Will of God.

·        Speak out the Word of God.  I can plant seeds that are good or bad. What I sow is what I'll reap. Everything I do brings forth seeds. I can speak words of faith. Don't speak words of death over self or others.

Character study:

Listen – pay attention, take note

Psalm 64:1-2 (NLT)

For the choir director: A psalm of David.

O God, listen to my complaint.

Do not let my enemies' threats overwhelm me.

[2] Protect me from the plots of the wicked,

from the scheming of those who do evil.

64:1-2 Sometimes individuals may believe that God wants to hear only certain requests from them. While it is true that we should offer praise and adoration, confession and repentance, and respectful petitions, it is true also that God is willing to listen to anything we want to tell him. David expressed himself honestly, knowing that God would hear his voice. God will always listen to me, and He will fully understand what I say.  I must be willing to talk to Him openly and intimately because He longs for that relationship from me.  Because God listens to everything I say, I can come before Him in all situations trusting that He will protect me and guide me as I in turn listen to Him speak back to me.

Memory Verse:

Matthew 22:37-40

Jesus replied, " 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' [38] This is the first and greatest commandment. [39] A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' [40] All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."

Meditation on Verse:

As I love the Father with my whole being, I learn who God wants me to be.  Knowing who I am in the Lord gives me the ability to love others like the Father. Obeying this commandment opens the door for me to love others as I love myself.  Possessing this lifestyle is what the message of God is based on.
