3rd Day

On Sunday the 14th, we went to church at Elim and were introduced in front of the church and were given the opportunity to share what Faith Week was all about.  The pastor asked for people to bless us in feed us for both lunch and supper. We came to help serve at the church and ended up helping out with the children’s church.  We worked with the 3-7 year olds.  After church a guy named Josh, who was a college student, came up to me and gave me a loaf of cheese bread and to two chocolate candy bars.  What a blessing to get a CANDY BAR!!! We then went and ate with a family called the Linscotts.  The were former YWAMers who did their DTS in Holland.  They had two sons so JD found himself hanging out and doing boy things.  We played our first came of cricket and French cricket.  It was quite an enjoyable game and a fun afternoon with this family.  We then had tea/supper with the Scotts who came and picked us up from the Linscotts.  As we were driving to their house we saw the steepest road in the world called Baldwin Street.  We talked a lot about parenting with them as we ate.   This couple also blessed us with milk and cereal to take back with us for breakfast the next day. We then went to evening church and met up with a girl named Jess and a guy named Tim who stayed in the flat that we were staying.

God taught us that He continually will provide for our every need.
