| This photo is taken just inside the door to the kitchen. The window you see faces west, out over Broadway. Broadway is very wide street, and the buildings across the street are much lower, so there is quite a bit of afternoon sunlight. What you can't really see is that there is a fair amount of space still at the entryway end of the kitchen (i.e., around the photographer here).
