| Crown sized coins continued to be issued for major Royal events. As the crown had been five shillings before decimalisation, the decimalisation continued as 25p for the first ten years. four issues were made between 1971 and 1981. A characteristic of all these four 25p versions is that they have no indication of value, whereas the later �5 coins all do. In 1990 it was decided that all crowns issued would have a face value of �5 on the coins. |
