It has been proven that alot of 'evidence' and storys given to the public where either cases the press distorted the facts to embellish their story or someone inside the police department leaked false information, intentionally or otherwise. Only God knows exactly what or why it happened and we are not Him, one sweet day there will be justice for JonBenet as noone can hide forever from God. This is my theory from reading/seeing/listening to evidence since what happened the night of December 25 1995 at the Ramsey home in Boulder, Colorado.

MY THEORY

On Christmas Day [December 25th] 1996 an intruder broke into the Ramsey home via a basement window  while the Ramseys were not home . Around the side of the house is windows leading to the basement- the windows are covered by a grill (a grate) but the grill was removed and someone had got down and entered the house from a broken window.
- There were no footprints in the snow covered ground infront of the house yet the area behind the house (where the basement windows are) had no snow on the ground
(News video footage shot on December 26 clearly shows that large areas surrounding the house had no snow cover at all - http://www.crimelibrary.com/notorious_murders/famous/ramsey/evidence_2.html?sect=7 )
...this fact tells it was possible to enter the house from the backway without leaving footprints

- There was evidence the grate over the windows had been removed as debris and weeds had been disturbed squashed in the process
- Dirt on the windowsill had been disturrbed
- A window had been broken into the baseement and had not yet been repaired
note also the space under the grate to the window is enough for that of a grown adult to fit

Once in the house the intruder looked around, wrote the ransom note and hid maybe under the bed in the guestroom - one door down from JonBenet's bedroom. The Ramseys' arrived home at approx. 9:30pm. JonBenet had fallen asleep in the car so her father carried her to bed.  Quite possibly the intruder was interupted by their arrival and hid in the bedroom next to JonBenets.
- A 2 & 1/2 page ransom note Patsy fouund on the spiral staircase to the kitchen had been written with a pen and on a pad of paper found in the kitchen
- Bathroom drawers to the adjoining guuestroom were open
- the valance on the bed in the guestroom was disturbed [partily tucked] under the bed

John and Patsy retired to bed shortly after, planning on waking early to to go visiting the next day. The intruder made his move and went into JonBenets' room where she lay tucked in bed sleeping. The person struck JonBenet with a stungun. A stungun used on the little 6 year old girl knocked her unconcious, providing her killer to remove her from her bed without a struggle or making noise.
- During the autopsy the coroner noted two dots on JonBenets right side of face [abrasions he called them in the autopsy]
- The abrasions on the right cheek were two dots and a light blue line was running between them ... these marking were later found by a medical examiner to match a particular style stungun
- JonBenets bedside table was undisturbed, indicating there was no struggle removing her from her bed

JonBenet was carried into the boilerroom - a room just off the basement. Here she was sexually violated and a rope tied around her neck and duct tape was placed over her mouth so when she regained conciousness she could not scream for help. Using a package of white nylon cord and a roll of black duct tape he'd brought with him, the intruder silenced JonBenet and bound her in a ritualistic choke-chain-like garrote, which enabled him to suffocate her, if necessary. He then tied the white cord to the paintbrush handle he'd broken into three separate parts. The intruder then sexually penetrated the six-year old with the sharp end of the paintbrush handle. She awoke at this point and fought to free herself from the rope - JonBenets own fingernail marks were scratched into her neck where she tried to remove the rope as it was pulled tighter. Finally it was over, JonBenet Patricia Ramsey was dead. The intruder left the way he had came in ... discretly and cowardly through the basement window.
The next morning [December 26] Patsy awoke at 5:30am and made her way downstairs. She found the note, picked it up and read it. The letter said JonBenet had been kidnapped by a "small local faction" and was being held for a ransom of $118,000. She was to be exchanged for the money later the same day. The letter warned that if the money was not delivered, the child would be beheaded.
She ran to check on her daughter, as she entered JonBenets bedroom she saw the child was not in her bed. Patsy woke John screaming for him. They ran into Burkes (their 9 year old son) bedroom to check if JonBenet was there, as she sometimes slept in her big brothers bedroom. After finding she was not in there Patsy made a frantic call to 911.
- Hand writing experts determined the writing was NOT Johns yet it was undecided if it was Patricias writing [many handwriting analizysts determined it was NOT Patricias writing either]
- without doubt the note was and couldd NOT of been written after the murder, it was too calm

JonBenets body was found by her father eight hours later in a room off the basement. She was naked, a rope was tied around her neck, her mouth covered by duct-tape and her beautiful green eyes that sparkled were closed. Her father, John, picked her up and carried her into the lounge and placed her beneath the Christmas tree - protecting his daughter to the end he placed a Colorado Avalanche hockey sweatshirt over her naked body and he and Patsy knelt down to hold there beloved little girl close one more tine.
The Ramseys' flew to Atlanta on a jet owned by the new owners of Johns bussiness, Access Graphic. A funeral was held at the familys church, Peachtree Presbyterian Church, on New Years Eve 1996. JonBenet was buried next to her older half sister, Johns daughter, Elizabeth who died in a car accident in 1992 at the age of 22.
