| Jack and Syd's relationship is at best friendly. Throughout Season One the two didn't even get past the simple gesture of a hug. The JBE are still amazed by the "hi honey" (Q&A) and the shoulder squeeze (The Box pt. 2). The honest truth is these two are far from close...but this is only the first season...THE HUG is coming, we are positive. This page is dedicated to documenting all the interactions, both good and bad (hopefully mostly good), between Jack and Sydney. |

| Season 2: You're Doing Fine |
| We finally got our hug, but at what cost? Jack deceived Sydney, as well as the rest of the CIA in "Dead Drop" in order to have Irina removed from the facility she was being held in. Some argue whether or not Jack's actions were offensive, thus demanding punishment, while others hold that SpyDaddy was only protecting his daughter. Nevertheless, Jack initiated the hug and Syd returned it. Though this closeness may be shortlived and under false pretenses, collectively the JBE are ecstatic. |
