The Wraiths
"Like shadows, they moved through the night, unseen, unheard, and concerned only with their own purposes."

The Beginning...
Wraith was inspired by a variety of sources, including the Assassins Guild, the Vampire Hunter's Guild, and various mercenary groups throughout the history of InterCity, such as The Rogue. Its structure is based loosely on the latter, vaguely militaristic, with secrecy the order of the day. Ideally, the group is an Intelligence resource, gathering and analyzing information.
The penalty for betraying the confidence of the group is swift and merciless, the member must accept a challenge from a member of the group's choosing, in a fight to the death. All equipment and funds received while in service of the group will be retrieved.
The Purpose...
Wraith was created to provide services in demand, created by the citizens of the city. These services include, but are not limited to; protection, reconnaissance, and private investigation. After a contract has been accepted and payment confirmed, a member will be assigned and dispatched. A member may be assigned to two active contracts at any one time, however, any assignments conflicting with one another cannot be accepted by a single member. It is the final decision of the leader of the group to decide whether a contract will prove to be a conflict of interest. If it this is the case, it will be rejected.
The Agents...
Each member of Wraith is an elite, chosen for skills they have shown through service. These men and women are professionals that have proven they have what it takes to accomplish the job. These members have proven themselves capable of determining acceptable cost and risk. Any contract abandoned due to overwhelming odds by its assigned Agent receives the full support of the group, and the contract will be refunded if accomplishing it becomes a conflict of interest.
Contracts...
Contracts will be considered and confirmed by the leader of Wraith and his assigned second in command before a reply will be issued. The waiting period can be an expected thee to seven days. During periods of inactivity, this period can be expected to be even longer. Fees will be discussed and either accepted or rejected by the leader or a person of his appointing. Every fee is final. If payment is not received, the Wraith's will be forced to take disciplinary action. Upon completion and payment of a contract, the Agent assigned receives a portion, while the rest goes to the Group Funds.
Equipment...
Each Wraith accepted to the group is given a Cloak of Silence and approximately $100-200 cash, depending on the status of the group funds. Further equipment may be requisitioned and purchased through gang funds as the leader sees fit. Requisitions are sent to the leader, and if approved, the item will be purchased and delivered to the Agent as soon as possible.
