The mysterious sword has a additional feature: just above the guard there is a thin section of metal removed from the center/blood groove. Keiran may capture enemy blades in this aperture as if threading a needle, snapping lesser-quality weapons with a flick of his wrist. The sword is rumored to possess dark powers. For every sucessful strike Keiran lands upon an enemy, 15 HP is returned to his total, never exceeding his maximum health total. ATK +21. SPD +7. Shadou Veil (Neck//Level 4): A dark scarf Keiran wears around his neck, concealing his lower face, the ends tucked in or dangling between his shoulder blades. It poses magical protection, granting him a shadow veil upon demand. Grants Keiran 10% resistance to Blindness, and Fear. Haori (Level 1//Upper Body): A silk shirt commonly worn by the warrior class for its versatility and comfort. Wide sleeves allow for an excellent range of movement and the garment is both warm and durable. Hitpoints +40. Speed +2. Hakama (Level 1//Lower Body): Common warriors garb in feudal Japan, the hakama is a pair of very baggy pants made of silk that almost appears to be a skirt at first glance. In player versus player combat, the horse can only be used if agreed upon by both parties. Techniques--------- Iado (Basic//Passive Skill): The result of hundreds of years of refinement to the philosophy and practice of swordplay. No easy task to master, this skill is reserved only for those that already show true prowess with the samurai blade. This skill grants an additional 5 points of damage with katana techniques, as well as a 30% chance of a critical strike: administering 10% more damage. Crescent Wave (Basic//Dark Energy): Keiran slashes his blade diagonally, creating an incredibly thin crescent wave of energy that slices through targets like a hot knife. Deals 20 damage per charge; +10 damage against those Good in nature. Has a 30% chance of paralyzing his opponents for 1d3 turns by striking pressure points and vulnerable areas. Dark Consecration (Basic//Dark Energy): By focusing on the dark powers harbored deep within him Keiran can consecrate his blade with a portion of his malice, imbuing it with a vile toxin that can debilitate the strongest foe. Has a 35% chance of inflicting 10% poison on the target. If successful, this then has an additional 20% chance of causing “Rot”, Keiran’s own unique status effect formed by his utter disdain for life. If Rot takes hold on the targeted limb, in 2d5 rounds the wound will become gangrenous, at which point the limb must be amputated immediately or the toxin will spread to the rest of the body, insuring a slow and painful death. Ethereal Chain (Basic//Dark Energy): By concentrating on the wellspring of dark energy within him, Keiran can extend the first two fingers of his hand and use them as the focal point for a whip-like tendril of power. Upon closer examination it is actually a tightly linked chain of pure dark ki. The chain/whip can be used to directly attack an opponent or entangle them, restricting their ability to attack or dodge. It deals 20 damage per charge, +10 against those Good in nature. [UNLEARNED] 4 Rings of the Bushido (Basic//Katana): Keiran is a formidable opponent with any blade in his hand, but with the traditional weapon of the samurai he is demonic. Wielding the Kikuichimiji in his left hand, and often a smaller weapon in his right, Keiran becomes a whirlwind of motion in a stunning display of sword mastery. Deals 30 damage per charge, and can strike 2 enemies at once. Requires 2 charges. Tsubame-Gaeshi (Basic//Passive Reaction): A passive reaction ability. When struck at in melee combat, Keiran has a 30% chance of striking BEFORE his opponent lands his/her blow with a vicious slash known as the Tsubame-Geashi, or Swallow Counter, a violent upward and down slashing motion so swift it resembles the whirling flight of a swallow. Deals 30 damage. Has a 30% chance of killing minor NPC's instantly.
