| Sometimes I sit and wonder why you left our world that day, I would have prayed, "Lord take me Home" if he'd only let you stay. At twelve years old you saw some things but a lot you never learned, But God saw fit to take you home now angel wings you've earned. Please look down upon me from time to time and when, You see that things are getting tough you'll come to me again. I pray that we may reunite when I reach the Pearly Gates, But until then your memories give comfort while I wait. You were a gift from God you see, a precious one it's true, But now my dear sweet Jonathan I'm left to mourn for you.
