| I am huge railfan. I live in Simi Valley which, as many of you know, rairoad tracks run through. I live within bike riding distance of them. One of my favorite ways to pass time is to ride over with my Toshiba digital and shutterbug some Amtrak Coast Starlights and Pacific Surfliners as well as Metrolink commuter trains. I am working toward a career as a columnist for Railfan & Railroad Magazine. As well as a subscription for R&R, I also get Model Railroader and Model Railroad News magazine. When I comented on Peter Maurath's column in that magazine, my letter apeared in the following issue (October 2003). After that I became a member of the Teen Association of Model Railroaders. Just recently I started the Southern California Railfan Association Yahoo! Group. In case you haven't figured it out, I am a model railroader as well. I model in HO scale and have nine locomotives of the Southern Pacific, Santa Fe and BNSF. I run them with my 21 cars on my 4x6 double tracked layout in my room. As for photos, as I said I love to take them of trains. I have over one hundred and there are still more to come. I will post more online later. |
