Mindless Trivia 2.0
a look at the making of the dreaming by

All knowing god but not your babies daddy
And you thought it was over, but you were wrong. I Edmund Lava, progenitor of all that is evil, and giving my boys mad props for surviving another year, as well as making some bad ass changes. The dreaming is now in 3.0, and it might be intresting to examine some of the hard decisions, the scrapped ideas, and the odd rules changes that turned the game into the streamlined jet it is today. Enjoy peon.
-Once considered the spell to get, Fetish Doll was scrapped during 2.0. Oriiginally for you newbies out there, you only got 1 point of health back twice a day. When the rule was changed so that everyone was at full health at 6pm, this drastically altered fetish dolls usefullness. But then again, why would you only want to damage someone once a day, and possibly take up to a week and multiple fetish dolls to kill them. Then there the issue of getting hair or blood from the person. And the fact that it should have been a talisman You know what this skill always sucked andI don't understand why anyone wanted it to begin with. Let's move on.

-Two new races were considered for version 3.0, although breifly discussed. One would be a new type of Fae, the other would function similar to a Lost Soul. Right just what the game needs, MORE fae and lost souls. Rejected as it should be.

-Lesser Deamon's, a pathetic beast from 1.0, were re-written and un-suckified. Unfortunately they haven't gotten around to putting them back in the game, or found many usefull plots to use them in. But it's nice to know some nostalgia may be back in the game. I know you agree, that's why your here right.

-Armor Rules did exist for a short time last year. A suite of armor cost 258 quicsilver to make, and had the awsome effect of ending the game. Buli was the official armor marshall, which is hot.

-Jorge Garcia has 2 rules named after him. The first rule is an old one regarding secondary characters. In case you didn't know you can't have them. The second is regarding costume requirments. Jorge must appear in a gorrila suit whenver he steps foot in game.

-Last year Keith experimented with a one-off rule for guest who would play the dreaming for one night. The deal was you got a little more expierience and a weapon, and in exchange could never play the character again. This created problems, as they were essentially unregulated NPC's. Keith is dumb sometimes.

-He really is, he designed lesser deamons, tragedines, and Fomor (really who plays fomor).

-In the original rougue tree the skills dagger use and dagger blocking didn't exist. This meant to effectively use venom dagger you needed to buy an out of class skill. Does it suprise you that Keith designed the tree. Man that's 3 in a row. Take that alchemy marshall.
