The Pilsen MVS Unit is a community household seeking to be good neighbors in partnership with community organizations working at grassroots empowerment and the underlying causes of injustice. MVSers, through their work and community life, will find themselves called to respond to causes as defined by the church and community. Volunteers should be willing to embrace diversity both within the unit and in the multi-ethnic communities in which they work. The volunteers are committed to be in constant search of opportunities to exchange life experiences with each other, their neighbors, and the wider community.
