A native New Yorker, Jonathan Hirschman began playing lead guitar at 15. Performing and recording with innumerable bands he became well-know downtown as an improvisor with a style is evolved from classic blues and R&B, further matured into his own experimental techniques and sound designs, including just intonation. He performs regularly with the Elodie Lauten Ensemble and has recently appeared at Makor, Music Under Construction, and the Cornelia Street Cafe.
