- Malfador Machinations: The designers of the game Space Empires IV. Their page has a lot of links to SE IV fan sites.
- Shrapnel Software: The publishers of the game; this is where you go to buy the game, get the patches, and talk to other players in the SE IV forums.
- Kuat Shipyards: Home of Andres Lescano's excellent Star Wars SE IV styles, including the Rebel Alliance, the Trade Federation, and three (3!) variations of the Galactic Empire. Brilliant stuff, I use the Rebs and Imperials in all my games.
- Rambie's SE IV Shipyards: Wonderful job getting graphics together for Babylon 5, he also made the great Earth Alliance style you may have seen around.
- Warp-Nine's SE IV Mod Races: He has done GREAT preliminary work and collected (and posted!) numerous images for all the various Trek races. These should help you get started making a race.
- UFA/TCO Shipyards: Atrocities posts on the boards a lot, and keeps up to date on Star Trek mods for SE IV. Good starting place for prospective Trerk style makers.
- Hyperionbase.com: A general repository for user-created SE IV add-ons. Mostly non-classic sci-fi races (nothing wrong with those!) but a good place to doublecheck for new styles regardless.
- Ex-Astris-Scientia.Org: An excellent reference site for Starfleet capital ships, with a great links section to even more Federation shipyards.
- Ship Schematics: Another great reference site, with numerous official and unofficial designs, sorted by class and race.
