Since our retirement in 2000, we've done some traveling. Neither of us had ever been to Europe before, so we took a trip to Paris with a group of friends whom we knew through "Ruthie's Parties", that we go to. Anne took a trip to Australia with one of her friends to visit another friend who was temporarily working there. We both have owned Harleys for many years, and love to take trips on them. We take many short trips, and try to take at least one long trip each year. We've been to the Four-Corners Rally, Daytona Beach, and of course, to the Sturgis Black Hills Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota.
We ride locally with a group called the Panther Creek HOG Chapter. It's a group of Harley riders who get together for just about any reason we can think of, just to have fun on our bikes! In fact, we don't even have to be ON our bikes to have fun! They're a great group of people to know.
