FC Pitchers 3rd Annual General Meeting
Sunday 9th May 2004

Season overview: This season has been a very successful season for the club, gaining promotion to the Premier Division of the Wharfedale Triangle league whilst finishing second in the first divsion. The club also reached the semi finals of both the Wharfedale Triangle Supplimentary Cup and the Leeds & District FA's Sunday Jubilee Cup. Next years aim is to consolidate their position in the Wharfedale Triangle League Premier division. Hopefully bringing back a bit of silver wear in the process!!!!
Financial Reports:
Social Secretary's Report (DP): - DP reported that social events such as a six-a-side tournament, trip to the dogs, bowlings nights and a race night in Pitchers brought an income of �661.13, an expenditure of �408.04 with a total profit of �253.09. DP to pass on this to the club tresurer.
Club Tresurer's Report (JD): - JD reported a income of �3065.66 and an expenditure of �2895.20 thisleaving a sum total of �547.38 in the club account. JD expressed his concern that there is an outstanding sum of �560.00 in subs owed by players and a discrepancy in banking �249.00. JD provided a list detailing a breakdown of player's outstanding amounts.
New Clubs Rules:
The following new club rules were proposed, seconded and voted upon by the attendees of the meeting.
The club ruled to adopt a'Three Strikes and your out' policy in reference to paying match fees. This means that if a player fails on three continuous occasions to present match/training fees to the club management that they will be suspended from playing until they pay in full the amount they owe. The club management will meet once a month to review the financial situation of the club and rule accordingly.
The club ruled that the current outstanding monies owed by players must also be addressed. All players must pay their owed fees by the 31st July 2004, any still outstanding by that date will incur suspension from the club pending review by the management in the monthly meetings.
The club ruled that the Man of the Match after every game will help raise funds for the club by taking a domino/football card around the pub.
Stand Downs and New Appointments:
DP to stand down as Social Secretary, JD to stand down as Club Treasurer. The club wishes to express it's thanks to both Diane and John for all of their efforts.
AS to take on the additional role as Club Treasurer along with his current position of Club Secretary. JC to adopt role of Social Secretary with immediate effect.
SM to take on role as club coach with responsibility of co-ordinating training upon recommencement.
The club voted to re-structure the existing management team to provide JOC with overall control over the first team. MB will become JOC's assistant.
The club voted to amend the current names on the club chequebook to be JOC, JC & AS.
AOB:
Training to start properly on the 11th July 2004 in preparation for the comming season.
AS to apply for Old Ball pitch for next season.
JSP to report back to the club management within two weeks regarding the feasability of creating a second team for next season.
