Hi Everyone,
The main piece of news is that we are moving house this weekend. The new place is not that far from our current home. Some friends of ours are returning to Australia for a while and have asked us to house sit for them while they are gone. This comes at a great time because our current contract is up and it also means we have 6 - 7 months to save up enough for the next contract. Each year we have to borrow money from my employer to cover rent (rent is paid by the year here and they usually want 2 years upfront) so hopefully this will get us out of that cycle.
I still have a few job oppertunities that I am looking into but at this time it looks as though we will be here in Malang and working at EF at least one more year.
Praise turned 6 months yesterday and she gets more beautiful everyday. Michael's vocabulary is getting bigger and more campur (mixed between English and Indonesian) everyday.
Airien's mum has been staying with us over the summer (thats right, it's summer here) so Airien is very happy. A friend of ours recently moved back to the U.S and they gave us their oven so Airien and her Mum have been busy cooking and experimenting. Most of it has been delicious............
Well we have a busy week packing and busy weekend moving.
I will let you all know our new address and details via individual emails. I don't really want to place that on the web.
