The project with the working title "Down to the River" is in pre-production for its redux scheduled in June-July of this year. The film was attempted under the direction of Jonah Hakanson in late 2004, but fell apart when the schedule collapsed. However, the first-run gave thirty6 an idea of the potential for this comedy-turn-horror project. Conceived originally in the fall of 2003 by Ric Miller and Jonah Hakanson, it is the story of two long-time friends who decide to take a camping trip. They get lost, get wasted, and find themselves in quite the pickle. Presently we are looking for people to crew the shoot. We need about a dozen of us behind-the-scenes to manage the cameras, sound, set, make-up and so on. All of us at thirty6 are super helpful, fun-loving, open-minded people. If you would like to be apart of this shoot, let us know via our contact link on this site. |
