The Faculty The students of a high school in a small town begin to suspect that their teachers are actually some kind of evil creatures, possibly werewolves! As they investigate further, they find that the truth may be more disturbing than they ever imagined. Jon's Role: Jon has a VERY small part in this movie and his first seen is of him and his girlfriend argueing through the halls. Rating: 5 out of 5- This movie is really cool with a good plot and has a lot of "eye candy" for both girls and boys. Masterminds Ozzie, a rebellious teenager who just got expelled from his preppy school returns for one final prank. But as he goes to the basement to set things up, he stumbles upon a security consultant, former school employee, that just took the entire school hostage for millions in ransom. Oz must rely on his youth and love for pranks to outwit the devious criminal mastermind. Cast: Patrick Stewart, Vincent Kartheiser, Brenda Fricker, Bradley Whitford, Matt Craven, Annabelle Gurwitch, Jon Abrahams, Katie Stuart (I). Jon's Role: Jon plays K-Day, Ozzie's best friend who helps save the day. Rating: 3 out of 5- Now, if you would have asked me what I would have rated it back in 1997, I would have said a 5, but I've grown up a bit and I've seen this movie way too many times and now the only reason why I'd watch this movie again is because of Jon, who did a very good job in the movie. Dead Man Walking A caring nun receives a desperate letter from a death row inmate trying to find help to avoid execution for murder. Over the course of the time to the convict's death, the nun begins to show empathy, not only with the pathetic man, but also with the victims and their families. In the end, that nun must decide how she will deal with the paradox of caring for that condemned man while understanding the heinousness of his crimes. Cast: Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Robert Prosky, Raymond J. Barry, R. Jon's Role: Jon plays Sonny Poncelet, Matthew Poncelet's (Penn) brother. Rating: 5 out of 5- This movie is *SO* good. Quite a tear-jerker. Kids A controversial portrayal of teens in New York City which exposes a world which is deeply disturbing. The film focuses on a freckled boy Telly (Leo Fitzpatrick), whose idea of safe sex is to have sex with only virgins. But one girl from one of his past unprotected passion test positive for HIV, and soon finds him making love yet to another unsuspecting girl. Cast: Chlo� Sevigny, Michele Lockwood, Rosario Dawson, Leo Fitzpatrick, Justin Pierce, Harold Hunter, Jon Abrahams, Carisa Glucksman, Yakira Peguero. Jon's Role: Jon plays Steven, a friend of Telly (Fitzpatrick) and Casper's (Pierce) and the host of the party. Rating: 4 out of 5- Very realistic and quite disturbing. |
