Juliet is waiting for Romeo to arrive, when the nurse walks in.  She tells Juliet that Tybalt is dead, and that Romeo had killed him.  Juliet first is mad at Romeo, but then realizes that it would be the other way around if Romeo hadn't killed Tybalt.  Juliet sends the nurse off to see Romeo, and to give him Juliet's ring, as a symbol of her love.
