Act 2, Scene 3: Romeo arrives at Friar Lawrence's garden, which is where the friar is, at dawn. He tells the friar of he and Juliet's plan to get married, and Friar Lawrence agrees to marry them. The thing, though, is that Romeo and Juliet's marriage must be in secret, as their families are enemies. The friar decides that, if Romeo and Juliet are married, their families might stop their fighting. |
