survive in solitude. But with skin harder than
rock and the strength to rip through steel, they

those who are dead to either the eternal torment
of Seraf's wake or the warm afterlife of Jyann's
domain. He uses his ancient but powerful scythe
to sever the souls of the dead from their mortal

One of the Four Norns of
the Apocalypse, War watches down on the many wars
and battles of Midgard. Giving each and every
soldier a murderous battle lust, War walks
amongst them, enjoying the death, carnage and
mayhem of it all. |

The Merfolk are a
mysterious people, inhabiting the deep, dark
oceans. Their gills and fins are uncomfortable
and ungainly on land, but in the water they are
more graceful than a bird in flight. |

The Phoenix is but one of
many, gliding from volcano to volcano where they
make their nests. Only the heat of an active
volcano is enough to hatch their eggs, thus
making them servants to Fai's will. |

The souls of the dead
wander Midgard, not being able to find their
final resting place. Although it requires a
powerful mind to become a spirit, they are still
shreds of what they once were. |

Small but not harmless,
the Faerie is a powerful magic user with the
ability to fly. Hiding in the forests of Midgard,
the loathe to appear in front of mortals, as they
are shy and peacful. |

Short, angry and able to
live for centuries, the Dwarves are feared and
respected by everyone. Able to ingest great
amounts of alcohol due to their twin livers, they
are widespread throughout Northern Midgard. |

Cruel and sadistic, the
Vampires of Midgard hide in the darkest places,
seeking to feed on the blood of the living. With
unnatural force, they overpower their hapless
victims before using their fangs to drain them of
their blood. |

Nothing is more feared on
Midgard than a Dragon. Giant monstrosities, they
can swallow a Norn whole and, with their great
wings, they can soar through the skies. Only one
of these beasts can destroy an entire kingdom,
but luckily there are very few left on Midgard. |

Fate wanders the world,
changing the course of time for the better.
Imbued with great power by Vadaeus and the Golden
One, he is the guardian of history itself. |

Gremlins are vicious
little creatures, wrecking lives and homes. Armed
with savage teeth and a mischeivous mind, its
sole purpose is to make people miserable. |

are decayed corpses raised by Chaos. They never
tire in their quest to destroy all life out of
pure envy. |

Sprites are small
creatures, full of magic and a sense of fun. They
live in the forests and meadows of Midgard,
rarely venturing into the places where
civilisation has taken hold. They love to annoy
and pester travellers, frequently tagging along
to groups of warriors. |

Formed by the twisted influence
of Maki, the dreaded Chaos Spawn run rampant through
Chaos lands. They slaughter and destroy without conscience,
razing entire villages for perverted pleasure. |
