TURKS AND CAICOS COMMUNITY COLLEGE

(ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE 25 OF 1994)

MISSION

The mission of the College is to provide post-secondary and continuing education for school leavers and adults, in order to promote their personal and professional development, and the economic development of the Turks & Caicos Islands.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Provision of A-Level Associate Degree type, and other pre-University programmes including teacher education programmes.

  2. Provision of academic upgrading, technical and vocational programmes to remedy academic deficiency, and to prepare students for employment.

  3. Provision of programmes of benefit to working adults to improve their job efficiency and advance their careers, as well as programmes of general education and cultural interest.

  4. Collaborating with internationally accredited institutions in offering Bachelors Degree programmes.

  5. Engaging in co-operative research activities of relevance to the community, within the competence and resources of the College.

  6. Maintaining internationally acceptable academic and professional standards appropriate to a further education institution.
